Copenhagen is internationally renowned for its innovative approach to the climate and the environment. Co-create Copenhagen is the vision for 2025 and it has three aims. To create ‘A Liveable City’, ‘A City with an edge’ and
‘A Responsible City’. The Architecture Policy Copenhagen 2017-2025 includes transformation and flexible design, using LCA of building materials and exploiting existing building capacity by making rooftop flats. The city of Copenhagen has worked to become the world’s first CO2-neutral capital by 2025.

Copenhagen is a demo site for the KINETIC project and the tasks related. Likewise, Copenhagen represents a separate territorial context from Parma and Bucharest and thus will ensure that all PED-specific policies and methodologies developed throughout the project will be implemented to take into account the local territorial context. This includes all the sub-tasks related to local, multi-level stakeholder co-creation process, and declaration of agreement, assessment of PED as well as the Energy Agenda and Energy Transformation Roadmap.
